LoverS Rendezvous Kit Review

My friends over at Body Jungle sent me two new things to review, and this is the first of them. I picked this kit because, mainly, I like kits. It's hard to find a kit, though, that's made of good materials and isn't made for people who don't have a lot to compare it to. The LoverS kit by Evolved Novelties seemed to have everything a romantic night needed, while still being quality and cheap.

Like all Body Jungle products, it came in super discreet packaging and got to me super quickly. They use only plain brown boxes and very generic shipping labels, so there's no way anyone can tell what's in the box. Body Jungle also has a deal going where you get free shipping on any order over $79.

The kit itself comes in a small domed case. There is a label that covers almost the entirety of it, but the very tip and base are transparent. It also has a metal loop on the top to hold/hang it by. It's made of hard plastic that's tough enough to be tossed into a bag, though you shouldn't drop it or it could crack.

The label is pink and classy, and the background of the text has roses on it. It's informative and tells you what you're getting, so if you want something discreet it may not be the best packaging. As long as the recipient is okay getting a 'romance' kit you should be fine wrapping this up or adding it to a gift basket.

In this kit you have a small vibrator, lubricant, a vibrating ring, a condom, 'romance dice,' a condom, rose petals, and an electric candle. I'm gonna be going through all of the contents individually.

Vibrator

The toy that comes with this set is actually entirely unique. It's not something that Evolved sells separate,  which I find both neat and a bit confusing because it seems like a solid vibrator. It's black and entirely made of a black, hard plastic. It takes one AA battery.

At just over 4 inches long and about 2 inches around at the widest point, this is a pretty small toy. It's a great size and material for traveling with, and it's not going to scare off any new or inexperienced users. You can insert about 3 inches of the toy, but you should not use it at all for anal play because it has no flared base or retrieval cord.

Used externally, this is great for clitoral stimulation or other erogenous zones. You can use it during intercourse, though it's not the best length to not get in the way. It's best use is for foreplay.

On high it's about 3/5 in power and 2/5 in volume. Especially for foreplay, this is going to be enough power for most people, though less sensitive users will be bored easily with it. You control it with the small twist-base, and it has a good variety of power levels.

Here's a picture of the toy VS a pen:

The Ring

The cock ring that comes with this toy is made of Jelly material. This is porous, so you shouldn't switch partners with it. It's SUPER stretchy, and the material is very soft. It's pink, as well, and is very pretty to look at.

This will fit just about anyone's penis. It easily stretches over a soda can, so unless you're hung like a dinosaur you should be fine. Because it's so stretchy it doesn't function super well as a conventional cock ring, as in constricting blood flow to harden an erection and prolong orgasm.

The little bullet that sits in the ring is fairly cheap in quality, but can be replaced by a better bullet if you so chose. You also can't replace the batteries. On the one setting I'd rate the bullet a 2/5 in power and 1/5 in volume, so it's not going to bring anyone over the edge on it's own, but it certainly adds some light stimulation to intercourse.

The ring VS a pen:

The ring stretched:

The Candle

The candle that comes with this kit actually really impressed me. It's quality plastic, and the battery can be replaced for a long life span. While it's not going to light up much of the room it gives off a pleasant, orange glow.

You control the candle with a small switch on the base. It has one setting, which is a consistent light. Because it doesn't flicker it's not as realistic as other candles, but it does fit in all traditional tea light holders if you want to use it to dress up a room.

Here's the light VS a pen:
The lube:

The lube that came with this kit also pleasantly surprised me. It's a full fluid ounce of the System JO water based lube in a super quality, classy bottle. Usually kits send you some crappy, name brand lube but Evolved splurged and sent you some of the good stuff.

With a pop-top it's easy to use, and I haven't had any issues with this leaking. After I use up the lube in it I will for sure be re-using the bottle and filling it up with my favorite, natural lube. The ingredients are as follows:

Propyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Glycerin, Purified Water

You should always do a spot-test before you use any new kind of product, and those sensitive to glycerin or parabens should just wash out the tube and re-use it. The product itself has no scent, and has an unpleasant sweet taste. It's compatible with all types of toys.

Here's the lube VS a pen:
Dice

The dice did not thrill me, and they really aren't going to get any use as far as we are concerned. They seem more for a couple that hasn't been together very long, and in our 3 and a half year long relationship we really don't need an excuse to kiss eachother all over.

The dice themselves are pink and about an inch and a half long on each edge. There is one die that tells you what to do, and one that tells you where to do it. Most rolls come up as something strange like "Kiss-- ears" and "Oil up-- lips", and each die have one side with the suggestive answer "Your choice." While they're good for each gender, they do look very feminine.

Here's one of them VS a pen:
The Condom

Now the condom is made by Paradise brand, which I have never heard of before. It's a basic 'one size fits all' condom made of latex, and isn't colored or flavored. It's all around similar to the free ones found in bowls around my campus.

This personally won't be getting any use because my boyfriend doesn't like condoms that aren't 'ours,' meaning from a reputable source or brand. For now we'll be sticking to our favorites.

Here's the condom VS a pen:

The Petals

The petals that come with this set are made of stiff, red cloth. They don't feel silky like real rose petals, but they're also cheaper and don't mind getting rolled all over. They don't feel scratchy against the skin, but they also aren't particularly silky.

I'd estimate that you get about 30 rose petals in this kit. It's enough to certainly cover a table or the pillows, but it may not be enough to cover a large bed unless you just want a few, subtle accents. You can wash them off with water and let them dry, but you shouldn't toss them into the washing machine.

Here's a petal VS a pen:
The kit overall

Overall, this is an AWESOME kit for the price. You get a lot of different things, and it's really cute to give as a gift to a happy couple. The things included are all either higher quality than I thought or on par with what I assumed I'd get for the price.

While this does seem to be aimed towards cis-gendered couples (male-female), lesbians can ignore the cock ring and gay couples can use everything as intended, just not inserting the vibrator anally. If you know you're going to be giving it to a lesbian couple you also can go in and replace the condom with a dental dam if you're giving it as a gift.

If this set seems like something you're interested in, you can find it right here. If you're looking for something else, Body Jungle has a lot more toys and kits that are cheap and offer a lot of different varieties.

Sorry it's been a bit!

Hey all! Sorry it's been a bit since I've posted any reviews around here. I've been taking an online class, working my part time job, and helping my Dad get his house ready to move into so I've been pretty swamped over here. Don't despair, though, because I'm just working a bit more slowly and have a few more reviews up here shortly!

I'm also blogging for Body Jungle now on their on-site blog on the handle of Ruby, but don't tell anyone! Feel free to give me any critiques or suggestions!

Studio Collection Sexy Secret Bullet

The second product that the fellas over at Body Jungle sent me to try was the Studio Collection Sexy Secret Bullet. This toy came in the same box as the A:Muse massager by Lifestyles, which was a plain, brown package with a nondescript label. There's no markings to let anyone know what you've ordered, which is always a great plus for a company.

When you pull this toy out of the box, it comes in a black package with the name of the product and the brand on it. This isn't the most discreet, but it doesn't have any lewd sayings or naked women on it, either. This packaging isn't really resealable, so it's not ideal for storage.

The front has a clear area where you can see the compact, though it's just black so it's fairly discreet. It states that it's a "Sexy Secrets Compact," the name of the line, and the name of the brand. If someone only sees the front of the box it's hard to tell what it is.

The back of the box features and image of the compact and the vibrator, and a lot of text telling you about it. It talks about the functions, how long you get on a set of batteries, the fact that it's waterproof, and tells the buyer that it comes with extra batteries.

Here's a picture of the front and the back:

The compact, that seems to match the theme of this entire line, is entirely made of shiny, black plastic. There is a red emblem on the front that stated the brand and the name of the line, along with a red and white decal. If someone looks closely at what this says they're going to get suspicious, but if this is just out on the counter it's going to blend in well.

It's about 3 inches long and 2 inches wide, and it's about an inch thick at the deepest area. It's a nice size to slip into a purse or drawer, though it's a bit larger than most compacts I carry around with me. If someone REALLY gets curious and opens it to only find a mirror they might be skeptical of why it's so thick.

Here's a picture of the compact VS a pen:

When you open the case up, there is a small mirror in the top part that is pretty functional as a normal compact. It's okay to check your make up in, though it doesn't magnify your reflection like some compacts offer. My main complain is that it just is a bit... Off. Off in the way that if you look at your full reflection for more than a few minutes it feels like you're going cross eyed.

You lift up the mirror part in order to access the bullet and extra batteries. The vibrator and batteries are held in a black, plastic insert. If you tip it upside down they don't stay in the insert, so you really should keep/open this right side up.

My main issue with this case is that it doesn't stay closed. It's loose and pops open even without me touching it, which leaves the bullet and batteries rolling around my purse. This really defeats the purpose for me. The solution I've found is to keep a hairtie around it. Here's a picture of the mirror and the insert with the bullet in it:

Now the thing is, I didn't really have high hopes for the compact. I already have several quality make up compacts, and I have a tin with a cute bullet in it that is already a great travel toy. I was really only interested in the vibrator itself because it seemed high quality and it offered at least one pattern.

The Sexy Secret Bullet is about two inches long and about one and a half inches around. This is a pretty standard size for a toy like this. If you hold it for a prolonged period of time it may cause your fingers to get tired because of the small size, but it's also a lot more convenient and easy to store because of that. Here's a picture of the bullet VS a pen (sorry it's a bit blurry!):

Power wise, this thing is better than a few larger toys I have (See the A:Muse massager I reviewed last) and I think that it should be enough for most women. On high I would say it's about a 3.5/5 in power and a 1.5/5 in noise level.

You control the this toy by pressing the small red button on the base. When you press it once it turns on, as you continue pressing it it cycles through the settings, and then once you cycle through the settings it turns off.  The settings are as follows

1) Low
2) Medium
3) High
4)  bz bz BZZ bzbzbzbz BZZ bbbbbbbbbBBBBBBZZZ bbbbbbBBBBBZZZ ... bbbbbbbBBBBBBbbbbZZZZ  bbbbz bbbbz bbbzzz BBZZZZ BZZZZZ BBZZZ bbzzz bbbzzz BBZZZZ BZZZZ BZBZBZBZBbzbzbzbzbzbzbBZBZBZBZBZBZB BZZZZZ BZZZZ BZBZBZBZBZBZ

The fourth pattern is REALLY odd, and it repeats itself at least after five minutes. It's really nice to see a 'random' pattern that really is that random, and it's something that I tip my hat to Screaming O for doing. If you're interested in something like that, this is a cheap way to try it.

The Screaming O bullet is also entirely waterproof, which is awesome news for those of us who like to play in the shower. You can see the red o-ring in the image below that seals when you screw the base on to keep all water out of the battery compartment:
Another awesome feature I want to point out is that if you remove the cap and revolve it 90 degrees, then press the base down it becomes 'travel locked. You can easily take the cap off again and set it right, but the toy won't turn on at all when it's set like this.

Overall? This is a super quality vibrator with really crap packaging and storage. Unless you want to keep a rubber band around the compact, I wouldn't put money on it staying closed while in your purse, or even in a drawer.

I would HIGHLY recommend this product for the bullet, because it's strong, quiet, waterproof, a good material, and it has such a neat pattern. If you think that you would like it, too, you can find it right here. If you're not too into this one that I got to review, Body Jungle has the most stock of any store I've seen, so they're almost guaranteed to have SOMETHING that will pique your interest!

A:muse personal massager review

Hello everybody! My friends over at Body Jungle were nice enough to ship me out some things to review this week, so the A:Muse by Lifestyles will be the first of two reviews sponsored by them. Body Jungle is a fairly new shop. What's their forte you ask? They have EVERYTHING! They have more products on their site than most shops I review for combined. So if you're looking for something but can't find it, I highly recommend hopping over there to see what they have.

I added the A:muse to the list of products I wouldn't mind trying for a few reasons. First off I saw that someone was asking about it on Tumblr, which initially got me thinking about it. Secondly, I am for some reason very interested in trying toys made by condom companies. I feel like they should know what they're doing if anyone does!

As usual, the box this came in was discreet and brown. The label doesn't even have the Body Jungle company name on it, so there's no way that those you live with will be able to tell who the package was from. For a lot of people like myself this is a huge deal, I don't want my mum handling a package that says it's from Dildos R Us.

The A:Muse by Lifestyles comes in a fairly compact purple box. When I first pulled it out I was surprised by how classy it looked compared to a lot of other toys. It's very feminine and at a glance no one would know that it's packaging for a toy. It's entirely purple, black, and white.

The front has a small flap that you can open to see the toy and read some more information about the features. Unless you get curious and open the flap you can't see the toy, which also makes it more discreet. It tells you how to control it and a bit about the settings.

When you flip the box over to the back there's quite a bit more information, especially concerning the materials and design of the toy. It's informative enough that you certainly know what you're going into, and it feels very high quality for the price range. Here's a picture of the front, flap open, and back:

The A:muse itself feels very quality when you first take it out of the box. Made of smooth plastic, this toy is both nonporous and body safe. This means it isn't going to seep out any ucky chemicals and that you can fully disinfect it. It's also very firm, which means you have more control of the pressure you put behind the toy.

It's about 5 inches long and 4 inches wide at the largest point. It's also about 3 inches thick at the thickest point, so it's not as easy to hide or take with you as a more traditional bullet. On the other hand, it's also a lot more ergonomic than a bullet, and it's much easier to control.

Here's a picture of the A:muse VS a pen

The area that has the strongest vibrations in it is the tip by the control pad. This tip also has a bit more of a point to it for better pinpoint stimulation. The vibrations are about halfway between buzzy and rumbly, and on high I would rate it about 2.5 vrooms and 2.5 bees.

It's not going to be strong enough for people who really need a lot of power, and this is one of the few toys I have that I wish had a bit of a higher setting. It's also not going to be heard over the shower or through the wall, though you can't use it in the same room as someone else.

You control this toy by pressing the three buttons on the dark purple control pad. There is a power button, an up button, and a down button. They're all way to press, but I haven't had any issues with accidentally pressing them in use. Here's a picture of the buttons:
There are three intensity settings to the A:muse and there are 5 different pattern. This means that there's a total of 15 different combinations that you can play around with, something that I would appreciate a bit more if it was stronger. The five settings are as follows:

1) Steady
2)  BZZ BZZ BZZ
3)  BZ BZ BZ BZ BZZZ
4) bbzzBBZZZZZ bbzzBBZZZZ
5) bz bz bz bz bbbZZZZZ

You turn on the A:muse by holding the power button and can turn it off at any time by holding the power button. You press the power button to switch settings, and when you press it on the 5th setting it goes back to being on the constant vibration mode.

Another thing I want to mention is that it's REALLY hard to open the battery compartment if you follow the instructions. It says that you should squeeze the sides and pull up a little to open it, but in reality you just need to get your fingernail under the top part and yank. I squeezed and squeezed, and it's much easier just to pull. Here's a picture of the toy open:

The A:muse also comes with a sleek travel bag. It's great because it keeps it clean and safe, though there's not much room in the bag if you want to pack lube or spare batteries. Here's a picture of the A:muse VS the carrying bag:
Overall, the A:muse is an ergonomic toy that has a lot going for it. It has a ton of patterns, it feels quality, it comes with it's own bag, and it's waterproof. On the other hand, I usually use toys on their lowest setting and I had to crank this one up to high, so if you need much power at all this one isn't a good place to look.

I had a really hard time rating the A:muse, but I settled with a 3.5 because it's awesome in concept, but I just feel that if you have a current favorite, even if you don't like a lot of power, this isn't going to replace it.

You can find the A:muse over at Body Jungle by following this link right here. If you're not big on external stimulation or you want something with more power, Body Jungle is sure to stock something that's more up your alley so you should still check them out!

Laid D.1 Dildo Review

Remember how I mentioned earlier that Our Naughty Secrets was willing to order toys for customers if they didn't carry the color/toy you were interested in? This was one of those toys. It actually inspired the guy who runs it to start carrying all of the Laid toys, which all look awesome.

I had actually sold a lot of my lightly used, sterilizable toys for cheap to save up for this dildo. Ever since I saw it the color, shape, and material just seemed perfect for me. After I'd made enough money I shot Our Naughty Secrets an e-mail and asked them to snag it for me. They actually gave me a discounted price in return for this review.

Now as soon as I pulled my Laid dildo out of the box I knew it was a quality toy. It comes in a rectangular, black and white box with colored sides. The color of the sides matches the color of toy you chose. It's sturdy and great to store your toy in if you're not concerned about space.

The front of the box has the name of the toy and some small lettering telling you that it's a silicone dildo. It looks very modern and classy, but it doesn't try and hide the fact that it's a sex toy. On the back is an image of the toy and some information highlighting the features.

Here's an image of the front:

And the back:

When you open the box, the toy is nestled into a black foam insert. It's very secure and it really sets off the color of the dildo. It's a great way to keep the toy if you aren't worried about space because it's super easy to open, and it's very secure.

Here's a picture of the toy in the box:

When you look closer there is a small, plastic loop around the cardboard insert that can be used to pull it up. How cute is that?! Here's a picture of it:

When you lift it up inside there is a little booklet highlighting the features of all the different Laid products, including a vibrator which they don't make anymore. It's classy and nice, and informative enough since this is a pretty basic dildo.

And what's this taped under the insert? A lube sample you say!

Well okay, enough about the packaging. I just needed to point out just how awesome my first impression of this dildo was. It looked to be everything I hoped for in a dildo! Pretty, classy, functional... Until I tried to use it.

The reason that I've been putting this review off. I am just heartbroken that this toy didn't work for me! I saved and saved, and now I can't even play with my fancy new toy I got. The main problem is the rigidity of the dildo and the girth.

The widest point at the large end is a bit over 5 inches around, and at the smaller end it's about 4.75 inches around. This makes it perfect for ladies who can take toys that are a bit over 'average,' but I don't happen to be one of those women.

Here's the Laid front and side VS a pen:

Since this toy has no motor, it's super quiet. Dildos are awesome for people who can't afford a noisy motor buzzing away where people might hear it, but if you're into vibrations you may not want to start with something this high quality in case you don't like it.

The silicone is a tiny bit of a lint magnet, but it's not tacky at all and has little drag to it. Due to the girth I still recommend using a lot of lube. Because this toy is silicone it's not compatible with silicone lube, and you also should try and not store it in contact with other silicone-based toys in case they react together and leave you sad. Here's a picture of me bending it to show you how little give this toy has:

I wouldn't really recommend this as a first toy for a couple or for solo use because of the large girth and the rigidity. If your partner gets carried away it would be easy to accidentally get bruised thrusting, and if someone isn't used to things this thick it may be unpleasant enough to scare them off of toys for a while.

Overall I HIGHLY recommend the Laid D.1 Dildo... If you like things this large. If you're like me and are a total girth wimp, good news is that Our Naughty Secrets carries a ton of smaller dildos and vibrators. If you're loving the looks of this awesome toy you can click this link to snatch it up in blue, current, or hot pink.

Toyfriend Mini Rebel Black Review

Because Babeland is awesome, they let me request to review the Toyfriend Mini Rebel Black. I liked the Toyfriend Bubbly so much (you can read my review here) that I thought that the smaller line was at least worth a try. It's a solid toy, but it didn't rock my world.

Like all packages that I've gotten from Babeland, this toy came in a discreet, brown box. The label said nothing about being a sex toy, and it wasn't rattling around or anything. I would highly recommend Babeland as far as discreetness goes, because no one wants their post man knowing when they are getting new vibrators mail-order.

Upon opening the box, I found that this Toyfriend had the same cute packaging that the other two Toyfriends I own came in. The front of the box is almost entirely comprised of a window where you can see your new toy. On the back is some basic information and care instructions, and on the side of the box is the lettering "I vibrate!"

This isn't the most discreet box, but it would still be a fine toy to wrap and give as a gift. It has no naked women or lewd sayings on it, so unless they're shy about the toy itself it's not going to give a bad impression. I really wouldn't recommend storing this toy in the box because it's a LOT bigger than my Mini Toyfriend.

Here's a picture of the front:
And the back:
The toy itself is fairly small, and has a rounded head. I was drawn to this shape over the other Mini Toyfriends because I'm less of a fan of the 'tickler' or 'rabbit ear' style and more a fan of broader clitoral stimulation. Between the three, I feel like one of the shapes will be to your liking.

The Mini Rebel itself is about 5 inches long, but how much of that is insertable is up to debate. Technically you could insert about 4.5 inches and still have enough of the handle to hold on to, so it's fairly short compared to a lot of toys out there.

Girth wise, this vibrator is also 'mini.' It's no wider than an inch around, even at the rounded tip. This is great for people who want to use it for light insertion, and it's also a nice size for external play. If you're a size queen this little guy isn't going to be for you, but if you're looking for something that won't intimidate the user this is certainly a good bet.

As far as using toys anally, I wouldn't recommend this toy. It doesn't have a flared base or a real handle so I can see it turning into a trip to the ER unless you're a very experienced user. The good news is that Babeland still offers a lot of cute toys that ARE anal safe.

The head of this vibrator comes out at a bit of an angle that is a nice shape for insertion, and it's not likely to get caught on your pubic bone like some more drastically curved toys. While it didn't do it for me personally, I think that it just depends on how you're built.

Here's the Rebel VS a pen:
a
And here's a picture of the head, and of the flexibility:

Being made of silicone this sex toy is nonporous and body safe. Silicone is a great material because it's not going to degrade on you or cause infection. You can also disinfect this toy by wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution. This should be done every time you switch users in order to prevent the spread of bacteria and infection.

As you can see above, the Mini Rebel really doesn't have a whole lot of give to it. For this reason it may not be the best introduction into insertable toys, but it is nice for external use because you can put a fair amount of pressure behind it.

Now on to the functions. This toy only has one setting, unlike it's larger Toyfriend buddies. The one setting is activated by pressing the button on the bottom, and it is deactivated by pressing the button again. The button isn't in a place where it's easy to press during use, which is always good.

The setting is about 2/5 in power and 1/5 in volume. This is a perfect vibrator if you're needing something that can't even be heard across the room, and it's impossible for anyone to know you're playing with it if your door's shut. On the other hand, the vibrations are VERY weak. They are fairly rumbly, but I personally find myself wanting more and I'm a total wimp when it comes to power.

One nice thing is that this Mini Toyfriend is entirely waterproof. It takes one N sized battery (which is thankfully included) and I haven't found any water in the battery compartment after using it in the shower and submerging it to clean it.

Here is an image of the battery compartment open:

Overall, the Mini Rebel is best for those looking for something small, simple, and fairly weak. It's not going to scare your partner off if you're looking to introduce toys into a relationship, but at the same time I would recommend a toy with several power levels in case you end up wanting them.

If you're really liking how the Mini Toyfriend sounds you can hop on over to Babeland and pick one up for yourself by clicking on this link. If you're thinking that it's going to leave you wanting more, especially for toys in that price range, Babeland offers a whole lot of toys with different shapes, volumes, and intensities.

Femblossom Heat Massager Review

When Our Naughty Secrets said that they were sending me a cool new toy that seemed to be the only one of it's kind, I got ecstatic. I couldn't wait for the package to come with my new surprise toy, and when I got it I wasn't disappointed. After receiving the  (always discreet) box from ONS, inside I found a shiny, new Femblossom Heat by Emotional Bliss.

This product comes in a small, white box with a picture of the toy on the front. On the back is an explanation of the toy, it's features, and a blurb about the company. The company that makes these essentially decided to come together with some physician and make a line of badass toys for their customers because they felt like there weren't enough classy as get-out vibrators, and thus the Emotional Bliss line was born.

You could keep your Femblossom Heat in the box, but it's a bit larger than the toy itself. I would recommend keeping it in a cool, dark place with the rest of your collection and avoiding getting it moist at all costs. It's also a bit of a lint magnet, so you should keep it apart from fabrics that shed a lot.

It's discreet enough and classy enough that I wouldn't hesitate to wrap it up and give it as a gift. It would be a great bridal or wedding gift, especially if you knew that they would be open to receiving something like this.

The Femblossom Heat is made of plastic. The white plastic is very firm and has no give or drag to it at all. The pad area that is colored has a bit more drag and give to it, and claims to be antibacterial. According to the manufacturer it releases silver ions to kill bacteria every time it comes in contact with water. I have only used it several times, but I don't see any degradation of material from this process yet.

The vibrator itself is fairly large and bulky, which can be both a pro and a con. At over 7 inches long and 3 inches wide, it can cover a lot of surface area. If you're someone who is into toys that can cover and vibrate your entire labia and clitoral area, this will be ideal for you.

On the other hand, you also can use the pointy tip for clitoral-only stimulation. It's a great length and shape that you can use this as a couple during intercourse, and it's ergonomic enough that you won't get a cramp trying to maneuver this during solo play.

Here's a picture of the Femblossom next to a pen and a closeup of the pad:

The Femblossom massager is controlled by a button panel on the other side of the toy. It's also made of the same antibacterial plastic, which is cool. There are three buttons on this side of the toy; an on button, and off button, and a power button. You press the power button once to turn it on low, and then the settings are as follows. The heat also depends on the setting, so I will be stating the heat and the vibration intensity as the manual says them:

Low (80 Hz, 95 deg. F)
Medium (120 Hz, 107 deg. F)
High (150 Hz, 122 deg. F)
Low BZZZ BZZZ (80 Hz, 95 deg. F)
Medium BZZZ BZZZ  (120 Hz, 107 deg. F)
High BZZZ BZZZ (150 Hz, 122 deg. F)
bbbbBBBBZZZ (120 Hz, 107 deg. F)
bbbbBBBZZZBBBbbbb  (120 Hz, 107 deg. F)
BZZ BZZ BZZZZZ (120 Hz, 107 deg. F)

One thing that is a bit less convenient about this toy is that you have to let it 'warm up' for about 15 minutes. This is tough, especially when you might only have 30 minutes or so of guaranteed privacy,  so you should take that into account when considering this toy.

On the other hand, the Femblossom Heat also has a 4 hour run time (give or take depending on how hard you run it) so the 15 minute heating time isn't a big deal. When I first read that I became concerned because I know some toys only run for 45 minutes, but you don't have to worry about that.

In order to charge this one up you have to let it sit plugged in for 12 hours. When it's charging the little logo that lights up glows and fades slowly, and you know that it's all charged up when it stops glowing. The glowing light isn't so bright that it's very noticeable, and the pulsing when it's charging isn't going to be annoying if you're trying to sleep.

This vibrator is rechargeable, and it's easy to just plug in and go. The port has no covering at all on it, so it's no way waterproof or splashproof. This also means that it's a bit tough to clean, but you just need to wipe it down with a damp cloth and dry it off well before storing.

Here's a picture of the port:

The Femblossom Heat is one of those vibrators that are AWESOME... But not awesome for me. It's not waterproof, and it's very loud to boot. On the lowest setting it's about 2/5 on the volume scale, and on high it's about 4/5. The powerful vibrations will make up for the volume for a lot of people, but not for me when I live in the dorms.

If this seems like a shape and design that would work for you, go for it! I have to say that having a toy heat up really makes it feel nice. Especially in the cold spring we're currently having, I wish that I was in a situation where I could curl up with this every night.

If you're loving the looks of this you can find the Femblossom Heat by Emotional Bliss right here. If you're looking for something a bit less loud, more waterproof, insertable, or whatever criteria you have for a toy I can guarantee that Our Naughty Secrets will have something lovely to float your boat, so check them out!
