Because Babeland is awesome, they let me request to review the Toyfriend Mini Rebel Black. I liked the Toyfriend Bubbly so much (you can read my review here) that I thought that the smaller line was at least worth a try. It's a solid toy, but it didn't rock my world.
Like all packages that I've gotten from Babeland, this toy came in a discreet, brown box. The label said nothing about being a sex toy, and it wasn't rattling around or anything. I would highly recommend Babeland as far as discreetness goes, because no one wants their post man knowing when they are getting new vibrators mail-order.
Upon opening the box, I found that this Toyfriend had the same cute packaging that the other two Toyfriends I own came in. The front of the box is almost entirely comprised of a window where you can see your new toy. On the back is some basic information and care instructions, and on the side of the box is the lettering "I vibrate!"
This isn't the most discreet box, but it would still be a fine toy to wrap and give as a gift. It has no naked women or lewd sayings on it, so unless they're shy about the toy itself it's not going to give a bad impression. I really wouldn't recommend storing this toy in the box because it's a LOT bigger than my Mini Toyfriend.
Here's a picture of the front:
And the back:
The toy itself is fairly small, and has a rounded head. I was drawn to this shape over the other Mini Toyfriends because I'm less of a fan of the 'tickler' or 'rabbit ear' style and more a fan of broader clitoral stimulation. Between the three, I feel like one of the shapes will be to your liking.
The Mini Rebel itself is about 5 inches long, but how much of that is insertable is up to debate. Technically you could insert about 4.5 inches and still have enough of the handle to hold on to, so it's fairly short compared to a lot of toys out there.
Girth wise, this vibrator is also 'mini.' It's no wider than an inch around, even at the rounded tip. This is great for people who want to use it for light insertion, and it's also a nice size for external play. If you're a size queen this little guy isn't going to be for you, but if you're looking for something that won't intimidate the user this is certainly a good bet.
As far as using toys anally, I wouldn't recommend this toy. It doesn't have a flared base or a real handle so I can see it turning into a trip to the ER unless you're a very experienced user. The good news is that Babeland still offers a lot of cute toys that ARE anal safe.
The head of this vibrator comes out at a bit of an angle that is a nice shape for insertion, and it's not likely to get caught on your pubic bone like some more drastically curved toys. While it didn't do it for me personally, I think that it just depends on how you're built.
Here's the Rebel VS a pen:
And here's a picture of the head, and of the flexibility:
Being made of silicone this sex toy is nonporous and body safe. Silicone is a great material because it's not going to degrade on you or cause infection. You can also disinfect this toy by wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution. This should be done every time you switch users in order to prevent the spread of bacteria and infection.
As you can see above, the Mini Rebel really doesn't have a whole lot of give to it. For this reason it may not be the best introduction into insertable toys, but it is nice for external use because you can put a fair amount of pressure behind it.
Now on to the functions. This toy only has one setting, unlike it's larger Toyfriend buddies. The one setting is activated by pressing the button on the bottom, and it is deactivated by pressing the button again. The button isn't in a place where it's easy to press during use, which is always good.
The setting is about 2/5 in power and 1/5 in volume. This is a perfect vibrator if you're needing something that can't even be heard across the room, and it's impossible for anyone to know you're playing with it if your door's shut. On the other hand, the vibrations are VERY weak. They are fairly rumbly, but I personally find myself wanting more and I'm a total wimp when it comes to power.
One nice thing is that this Mini Toyfriend is entirely waterproof. It takes one N sized battery (which is thankfully included) and I haven't found any water in the battery compartment after using it in the shower and submerging it to clean it.
Here is an image of the battery compartment open:
Overall, the Mini Rebel is best for those looking for something small, simple, and fairly weak. It's not going to scare your partner off if you're looking to introduce toys into a relationship, but at the same time I would recommend a toy with several power levels in case you end up wanting them.
If you're really liking how the Mini Toyfriend sounds you can hop on over to Babeland and pick one up for yourself by clicking on this link. If you're thinking that it's going to leave you wanting more, especially for toys in that price range, Babeland offers a whole lot of toys with different shapes, volumes, and intensities.

Pinups Bullet and Balm Review
The people at Babeland were kind enough to send me a neat little set even though it wasn't on their 'review' list. I have been oogoling these tins for a while because they're just adorable, and I was so stoked at the opportunity to get one for free. So here it is, the Pinups Bullet + Bombshell Balm!
This set comes in a cute, metal tin. There are three different images to choose from, but the set I got is called "Ruby." The image on the front is of an old-fashioned pin up shot. It's of a brunette putting on a garter skirt and wearing nothing else but heels and a bra. Even though it's a bit showy, I still feel like the pin up style makes it classy enough to carry around in your purse.
The tin is about 3 inches long and 4 inches tall, and it's about 1 inch thick. If you wanted to take the foam insert out you could easily keep cigarettes, makeup, condoms, candies, or whatever else you want to take with you in here.
Here's the tin compared to a pen:
This set comes with three things inside it: a bullet, a tin of orgasm balm, and an extra battery. They are all nestled in a foam insert. If you shake it they do rattle around a little bit inside of it, but the lid is sturdy enough that you can toss this in a bag and not worry about the parts getting separated.
Here's a picture of the things together in the tin:
The vibrator itself is bright red and super pretty. It's a bit iridescent in the right lighting, and I feel like it will really appeal to the women in your life who like glitzy things a lot. It's about 3 inches long, which seems to be fairly standard when it comes to cordless bullets like this.
The bullet has 3 settings and they are all controlled by the push button base. This makes it easy to control, but it also may be easy to change the setting if you're using the back of the bullet to put pressure where you need it. It has 3 settings that are as follows:
Low: 1/5 on volume, 2/5 on power
Medium: 1.5/5 on volume, 2.5/5 on power
High: 2/5 on volume, 3.5/5 on power
The balm that this comes with this product has really turned me onto arousal products, and as we speak I have a few more that I ordered on the way! When you first apply it there's a "This isn't working" moment, but after it has time to take effect it gives wherever you spread it a light tingling sensation. This is a wonderful combination with the included bullet!
Even though I don't need any more help being sensitive to vibrations, I find that the best way to use this orgasm balm is to wear it out and about. It's not so powerful that you'll be sweating and squirming, but it adds a bit of sexiness to every day activities like driving around.
The ingredients are:
Sweet Almond Oil, Grape seed Oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Capric Triglyceride, Cacao Butter, Peppermint Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Propylparaben, Soybean Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Avocado Oil, Isopropyl Acetate, Bisabolol, phenoxyethenol, Wheat Bran Extract, Matricacaria Flower Extract, Fucus Vesiculosus Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, BHT, Linoleic Acid, Limonene, Linalool
This balm is oil based, so you shouldn't use it with condoms because it can degrade latex. Similarly, this shouldn't be used inside your body because oil can mess up the natural pH of your vagina. Otherwise, this is a sexy way to spice things up! It smells a little bit like sweet cherry, but it just tastes 'tingly.'
Here is the bullet and balm next to a pen:
And here is the balm itself:
Overall, I highly recommend this set. Not only is it gorgeous and does it come in a sweet, retro tin but the contents are spectacular. For the price, this would be wonderful for any woman in your life that you feel would be open to receiving it. (Including yourself!)
If you are interested, Babeland offers this in three different styles, so pick whichever one you think looks the best! They're all wonderfully retro, and you can find them here!

PicoBong Honi Review
For my first sponsored review by the sex positive community Babeland I was given the Honi by PicoBong. This cute little toy is an oval, elongated egg style vibrator that has an added retrieval cord at the base of it. This toy comes in several bright colors, and is great for beginners.
This toy comes in a small box that isn't extremely discreet, but it would be fine to wrap and give as a gift. It comes with very in depth instructions, which you may need to read over in order to get this toy to work the way that you want it to. The box itself doesn't have any naked women or lewd language on it, but the front is simply a transparent window with images describing the features of the toy.
The vibrator also comes with a cute little die. This has a picture of all of the different PicoBong vibrators on each side, so if you had them all you could essentially roll the die to decide which one you were going to play with.
The vibrator itself is waterproof and made of smooth plastic. No part of the toy has any give to it at all, which allows for you to put more pressure where it counts. Because of the oblong shape, you can easily use this for more pinpoint stimulation or use the entire side of the toy. This makes it more versatile.
I have found that the vibrations are located mainly in the body of the toy, but the travel to the tip of the toy very well. If you have a lot of trouble with toys numbing your fingers you may want to be careful how firmly and long you hold this toy, but the vibrations are fairly buzzy and are about 2.5 out of 5 in strength.
I have used this toy in the shower and submerged it to clean it, so I can vouch for it being completely waterproof. The main issue I have with this toy is that the Picobong logo is super hard to clean. It's a depressed logo on the side of the toy, that also incorporates the buttons. The best way I've found to clean it is to utilize an old toothbrush.
There are quite a few different settings to this toy. There are at least 5 different speeds that increase as you push the + button, and then if you hold down the + button you can get to several different ramping functions and patterns of varying intensity. My one qualm about this design is that it's a real pain and takes two fingers to get into the patterns
This toy has a retrieval cord, but I wouldn't recommend it for anal use just in case. (Babeland also carries a large amount of anal-safe vibrators if that's what you're shopping for.) You can insert this toy and leave it in, which is great for a warm up or for public play, and it's easy to remove because of the cord. On high it's a 1.5 out of 5 on the volume scale, so it may not be safe to wear in a library but a public area would completely cover any noise.
All in all, I would recommend this to a friend who was looking for something small and compact, but who didn't need a lot of intense vibrations and didn't mind the difficult to press buttons. It's a very high quality toy and I really like it, but I feel like there are some minor design flaws in the buttons and the embossing that make use and care a bit more difficult than needed be.

Power- 2.5/5
